blind side

Based on the extraordinary true story, those words are written at the top of the poster.  And yes, this movie offers you a great and touching story about kindness and great family. Kind of movie that will make your heart warm and wish that every single kids has a great family like those.

Michael Oher, is a black-poor- kid from suburban area who came from a broken family, a typical black family that often described in a movie. Having a bad childhood memory where he almost never felt to be loved by his family, he grew up as a shy and lonely boy, but he has a great talent in sport. Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Michael presence in the Touhys’ lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own.

One of my favorite words:

Beth:
You’re changing that boys life.

Leigh Anne Touhy:
No, he’s changing mine.

.

Sandra Bullock who plays as a Leigh Anne Touhy, really did a great job. Her acting is terrific. She just fit with the character. Not less not much.

This movie is based on Michael Lewis’ book, “The blind side : evolution of a game” . Directed by John Lee Hancock and cast by Sandra Bullock  (Leigh Anne Touhy) and Quinton Aaron (Michael Oher), this movie promises a touchy story, espescially at the end of the movie, when they show the pictures of the real Michael Oher with the family. I can not help my self not to brim with tears.

the real Michael Oher

Hancock and Bullock make a great team. Blind side is already the highest grossing football movie and sports drama  of all time domestically, according to a site in internet. Just in its first two weeks, it was no.2 then jumped to no.1.

4/5 stars from me!
